Treasury Management Specialist

BankSouth seeks qualified candidates for the position of Treasury Support Specialist at our Lake Oconee, GA Branch. This full-time position leads several initiatives within the Bank to support its strategic goals.

Treasury management product development, fee strategies, and risk mitigation

• Compare the bank’s product line-up and functionality with best in market and recommend changes
• Use information gathered from interactions with customers, Business Development Officers (BDOs), commercial banking, and other operational areas to recommend new products and services
• Articulate problems and improvement opportunities; recommend how to proceed to enhance the customer experience and/or improve efficiency
• Make recommendations on appropriate pricing for Treasury Management products/services
• Serve as liaison with business credit card partner
• Assist in development and maintenance of all treasury product agreements and amendments; help ensure agreements and amendments are properly executed and filed
• Assist in development and management of risk review process for appropriate products (ACH/RDC/wires/others as needed); assist in completion of risk reviews as needed
• Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place; includes policy and procedure creation and maintenance where appropriate

Resource for Business Development Officers

• Participate in joint calling efforts with BDOs as needed/requested
• Work closely with BDOs to assure customers are set up with correct services at onboarding to provide a turnkey experience
• As needed, provide BDOs with training guides and informational sessions related to systems and products

Business switch kit development and on-going maintenance

• Develop and maintain a business switch kit to streamline and simplify commercial account transition
• Develop and maintain on-boarding process/checklists for treasury management services

Incentive plan development and tracking

• Assist in continual improvement of commercial incentive plans
• Ensure incentive plans reward appropriate behavior, promote cross-selling of appropriate bank products, and are in alignment with bank goals

Sales training, tracking, and campaigns

• Collaborate with Director of Learning & Development to develop and deliver sales training as needed
• Assist in development of sales scorecards/dashboards/key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist in development and execution of sales campaigns

Data mining of existing customers for cross-sell opportunities

• Work with BDOs and Marketing to uncover cross-sell opportunities to better serve existing customers

Knowledge & Skills

Experience:

Prior treasury management experience is required

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

Bachelor's degree is required
