Power of the Purse goes virtual! We will be joining together with networking and time for conversations, with speakers, and with plenty of auction items, all in support of early childhood literacy!
Our annual Power of the Purse, which benefits local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library programs, will look a bit different this year but our purpose is still the same: the education and literacy of our youngest residents. Your registration and donations help co-author a child’s story of learning by putting books in the homes of children in Clarke and Oconee counties from birth to age five. This year's event will feature guest speaker Carol Aebersold, co-author of The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, and co-founder of Atlanta-based The Lumistella Company.
