The Athens Area and Oconee Chambers will co-sponsor a Local Candidates Forum on:

Wednesday, October 14th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Participating in the Forum will be:

Georgia House of Representatives 117th District
Georgia House of Representatives 119^th District

Houston Gaines Marcus Wiedower

“Mokah” Jasmine Johnson Jonathan Wallace

Georgia Senate District 46^th District Georgia Senate 47^th District

Frank Cowsert Frank Ginn

Zachary Perry Dawn Johnson

District Attorney Western Judicial Circuit 47^th District

James Chafin Deborah Gonzalez Brian Patterson

The forum will be moderated by Adam Hammond.

The forum will be available on the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page via Facebook Live. It will be recorded and released for further viewing on Thursday, October 15.

Candidates for the area's Georgia House of Representatives and the Georgia Senate seats as well as candidates for the District Attorney race will be available.

Questions for the candidates will be determined by the Chambers of Commerce.
