Annual Mid-Year Presented by Porter Steel and Armentrout Matheny Thurmond, P.C.- Biggest Party of the Year!

In Athens, we can always find a reason to get together. This year, on July 18th, we will be celebrating Mid-Year at the brand-new Food Bank of Northeast Georgia space. This organization, that focuses on nourishing our neighbors sent 11 million pounds of food through their doors last year. You will be awed by the magnitude of their work.

The event is light on programming and heavy on good food, good drinks, and great friends. In years past, the Mid-Year event has been one of our most heavily attended networking soirees. Come out to meet old and new friends and celebrate our beautiful community!

Schedule of Events:

• At 5:50, we will briefly hear from:
  • David Bradley, President of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Erin Barger, CEO of the Food Bank of NEGA
  • Cole Porter, Porter Steel
  • Armentrout, Matheny, & Thurmond
• Food Bank Staff will offer tours of the facility at 5:15, 5:30, 6:15, and 6:30. 
• Volunteer Opportunities to pack Senior Staples boxes will be ongoing throughout the event. This will be a fun and quick way to get acquainted with how volunteers support the Food Bank's operations. 
• At anytime during the event, grab a few new friends and:
  • Visit the photo booth
  • Play cornhole
  • Play 'Mingle Bingo'
  • Participate in the Freezer Challenge
