Inclusive Recovery Athens is a peer-based addiction recovery support center working to transform the culture of recovery in Georgia and beyond. They focus on building recovery spaces where everyone—especially LGBTQ+ individuals and other marginalized groups—feels seen, safe, and supported. Through education, peer support, outreach, and training, they equip communities and organizations with tools to foster belonging and cultural responsiveness in recovery spaces. Whether through one-on-one peer support, virtual groups, or technical assistance for programs statewide, they lead with lived experience and the belief that healing is a collective process. Their mission is simple: create inclusive recovery environments where people can thrive, not just survive.
