DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! This month-long\, nationally recognized celebration is observed from Sept. 15-Oct. 15 and celebrates the histories\, cultures and contributions of the Hispanic community. This History Hour event we'll share more on local Latinx history and community with members of DIA\, U-LEAD\, Pinewoods community\, and CLASE. We'll be joined by Dr. Oscar Jim nez-Castellanos\, Esther Carillo\, and Beto Mendoz for this special event. Join us to learn more at our upcoming History Hour with Historic Athens One Story\, a free monthly education program. Each month's History Hour is at the Lyndon House Arts Center\, every 1st Tuesday of the month. Complimentary lunch from Rashe's Cuisine is provided on a first come\, first serve basis with vegan options available. This event is free and open to the public.
