This Pride Month, join Historic Athens for a Queer Space Tour, a guided 2-mile walking tour exploring the people, places, and stories that shaped Athens? LGBTQ+ history.
 
Led by local guide Rin Gunn and originally created by Caro Caden, the tour features powerful audio components with primary sources narrated by voice actors, bringing real stories to life in the spaces where they happened.

Highlights include Memorial Hall, the site of the Southeast?s first openly gay dance in 1972, and Church Bar, where the tour concludes.
